Compound feed
Corn is the main energy grain in poultry, pig and cattle feed thanks to its high starch content.

Crops we grow
Corn farming in five regions of Ukraine, with our own silo lines to dry and store the harvest. Yellow corn in bulk for feed mills, processors and traders.
Corn farming in Ukraine starts in late April and May, once the soil has warmed to about 10 °C at seeding depth. Corn is a warm-season crop with no winter form, so it is always spring-sown. It grows through the summer, flowers in July and is harvested from September to November, depending on the hybrid and the weather.
Ukraine is one of the world's large corn exporters, and almost all of the crop is yellow dent corn. July rainfall around flowering decides much of the yield: heat and drought at that stage reduce pollination and kernel set, which is why the wetter central and northern regions have grown in importance for corn. Hybrids are chosen by maturity group, so a later, higher-yielding hybrid suits a long season, while an earlier one dries down sooner in cooler areas.
Corn is rarely dry enough in the field. It is usually combined at a moisture well above safe storage level and then dried, so drying capacity is as important to a maize farmer as the combine.
Our corn comes from a farming group in the Dnipropetrovsk, Kirovohrad, Vinnytsia, Zhytomyr and Rivne regions, covering steppe in the south-east and wetter land in the centre and northwest. Tillage is chosen field by field, from classical ploughing to no-till, according to the soil, moisture, weather and preceding crop.
On drier fields, no-till keeps residue on the surface and saves moisture for the summer, which is the season corn depends on. On heavier or cooler soils, classical tillage helps the ground warm up faster in spring.
Working as a maize farmer with its own drying and storage means the corn does not wait in the field or in a queue at someone else's elevator. Growing corn next to soybean, wheat and sunflower also allows rotation: corn after soybean benefits from the nitrogen the legume leaves behind, and breaking up corn after corn reduces pest and disease pressure.
Corn is combined in autumn and trucked straight to the nearest of our certified silos.
The grain is received and cleaned of cob pieces, husks, dust and broken kernels.
Our silo lines dry the corn down to a safe moisture for storage, which is essential for this crop.
Dry, clean corn is stored in silos close to the fields and to road and rail routes.
Lots are loaded in bulk on trucks or railcars, or packed in big bags for road transport.

Farms feed ground or flaked corn directly as part of the ration.
Wet and dry milling plants turn corn into starch, sweeteners and bioethanol.
Corn grits, flour and flakes are made from clean, sound grain.
Buyers looking for yellow corn suppliers can source bulk lots from our silos, loaded on trucks or railcars, with big bags possible for road shipments. We have maize corn for sale from the current crop; available volumes are confirmed per request.
Quality is fixed in the contract specification: moisture, foreign matter, broken and damaged kernels and other figures your plant works with. The corn meets the requirements of the State Standard of Ukraine, and extra certification can be arranged depending on the sales market and end use. Export documents are agreed per contract; for grain a phytosanitary certificate and a certificate of origin are the usual set.
We deliver on Incoterms 2020 terms FCA, CPT, DAP and DDP. The price depends on the lot, the season and the delivery term.
Corn is one of seven crops our farms grow. Learn more about our grain farming and storing grain, or see feed barley and soybean farming. Feed mills that buy corn can add protein from our own plant: high-protein sunflower meal and GMO-free soybean cake.
Send us the volume, quality, delivery point and Incoterm, and we will reply with what our current crop can supply.

Usually from September to November, depending on the hybrid, the region and the weather of the season.
Corn is often harvested at a moisture that is too high for safe storage. Drying on the silo line prevents heating and mould.
The corn comes from our own farming group in five regions, grown on a commercial scale with tillage chosen per field.
Yellow corn, which is the type grown on almost all Ukrainian corn fields and used mostly for feed.
In bulk by truck or rail from our silos. Big bags are possible for road shipments.
