Legal
Privacy policy
Last updated: 23 October 2026. This policy explains what personal data we collect through ukragrosunoil.com, why we need it and how you can control it.
Who we are
This website is operated by UKR AGROSUN OIL, a Ukrainian producer and exporter of vegetable oils and animal feed. Our address is 74722, Kherson region, Nizhneserogozkiy district, Verhnie Serogozy village, Pochtovaya str., 36-B, Ukraine. We are the controller of the personal data described in this policy.
The policy covers the website ukragrosunoil.com and the messages you send us through it. We process personal data in line with the Law of Ukraine "On Personal Data Protection" and, where it applies to visitors from the European Economic Area, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
What data we collect
Quote and contact form. When you send a request, we receive your name, email address, phone number, company name, address, country and the text of your message.
WhatsApp chat. If you contact us through the WhatsApp button, we receive your phone number, your profile name and the messages you send. WhatsApp is a separate service with its own privacy policy, which applies to how it handles your data.
Technical data. Our server automatically records log data such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you open and the date and time of the visit. Cookies are described in a separate section below.
Why we use your data
We use the data you send to answer your enquiry, prepare quotations, negotiate and perform supply contracts and keep in touch with your company about orders. The legal basis is the steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, the performance of a contract, and our legitimate interest in running B2B sales.
Server logs are used to keep the website secure and working and to investigate errors or misuse, based on our legitimate interest. Optional analytics cookies are used only with your consent. We do not sell personal data and do not use it for automated decision-making.
Who receives your data
Your data is seen only by the staff who handle your request. We may share it with service providers who work for us, such as our website hosting provider, email services and logistics or inspection companies involved in your order, and only to the extent they need for that task. We may also disclose data when Ukrainian law or a competent authority requires it.
Some of these providers may process data outside Ukraine. In that case we use providers that offer appropriate safeguards for personal data, such as contractual data protection clauses.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to a contract are kept for as long as needed to answer and follow up, and deleted no later than three years after our last contact. Data connected with contracts and shipments is kept for the period required by Ukrainian accounting, tax and customs rules. Server logs are kept for a limited period, normally no longer than 90 days, unless they are needed to investigate a security incident.
How we protect it
The website uses an encrypted HTTPS connection. Access to enquiries and customer data is limited to authorised staff, and we take reasonable technical and organisational measures against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so please do not send us sensitive data that is not needed for your request.
Cookies
We use cookies that are necessary for the website to work, for example to remember your cookie choice. With your consent, we may also use analytics cookies that help us understand how visitors use the site. The cookie banner lists the cookies we use, and you can accept or decline the optional ones there and change your choice later.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking necessary cookies may affect how some parts of the site work.
Your rights
You have the right to ask what personal data we hold about you, to receive a copy, to correct it, to have it deleted, to restrict or object to its processing and, where processing is based on consent, to withdraw that consent at any time. Where the GDPR applies, you can also ask for data portability.
To use any of these rights, write to info@ukragrosunoil.com. We will answer within 30 days. If you think we have handled your data incorrectly, you can complain to the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights or, in the EU, to the data protection authority of your country.

We may update this policy when our website or the law changes. The date at the top of the page shows the latest version. The rules for using the website itself are set out in our terms of service.
