How we control quality

Quality control at UKR AGROSUN OIL rests on a certified test laboratory and an R&D department that sit inside the production chain. They test incoming raw materials, monitor the pressing and refining, and verify finished products, including crude, refined and bottled oil, before anything is shipped.

Because we grow and store most of our own seed, the checks start earlier than at a plant that buys on the open market. A problem found at the silo never reaches the press.

Checkpoints from field to shipment

Seed intake
Each delivery of sunflower seed, rapeseed or soybeans is sampled at the silo. Moisture and impurities decide how the batch is cleaned, dried and stored.
Storage
Silo lines clean and dry the seed before storage, and stored stocks are monitored until they go to processing.
Processing
During pressing and refining, the laboratory follows the process so that each stage, from filtration to deodorisation, gives the expected result.
Finished product
Crude, refined and bottled oil, sunflower meal and soybean cake are tested against the standard or the contract specification before release.
Shipment
Each lot leaves with its documents, so the buyer can match the cargo to the test results.

Documents available on request

Buyers can ask for these documents for each shipment. The set depends on the product and the destination.

Certificate of analysis

Laboratory results for the lot: the parameters agreed in the contract and the values measured.

Certificate of origin

Confirms that the goods were produced in Ukraine, which customs in the destination country may need.

Phytosanitary certificate

For grain, oilseeds and feed products, where the importing country requires it.
